Study the pictures of a blacksmith. You can double-click on any one image to enlarge it. What things do you see in these photographs that might help you figure out what a blacksmith does?

Discuss the following questions as a family:

How do we use the things people do to help us define who they are?

Do you think the things Jesus did might have helped people identify him as the son of God? How do you think "miracles" played into who people thought Jesus was?

John 2:11 says that when Jesus turned the water into wine, he revealed his glory. What do you think that means? Does Jesus reveal his glory today? How?

As a family, define who Jesus is to you. Ask one family member to write it down. How will this definition of Jesus change the way you live this week?
