Linsey Mather

Pastor to Young Adults

Linsey grew up in the Northwest and currently lives in Nampa, ID with her husband Javin.

Linsey felt a desire from a very young age to help others, but always thought it would be in the mental health field. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2009 from Northwest Nazarene University and has since worked primarily in social work and mental health positions. During these ventures, Linsey has worked with refugees, foster youth, pregnant or parenting teens, college students, individuals with mental health needs, and low-income families.

In 2010, while applying for graduate programs in psychology, Linsey felt called to pursue ministry within a church setting. In the fall of 2011, Linsey began the Master of Divinity program at NNU with an emphasis in Missional Leadership.

Linsey began interning at Real Life in the fall of 2011 and officially took over Young Adult Ministries in the summer of 2013. As a young adult herself, she strongly desires to help this ministry grow.

When she has time for fun, Linsey enjoys painting, cooking, drawing, ice-skating, watching movies, and meeting friends for coffee. She is the oldest of three siblings, with one brother and one sister. Linsey loves sushi and Mexican food and admits she could probably eat them every day.
